Water Service
Comfort Link offers chilled
water services that are customized to meet the needs of each building
and its owner.
Installation
Comfort Link installs an energy transfer station consisting of a plate
and frame heat exchanger, control valves, metering instruments and piping
connections in the building. This equipment will fit in approximately
12'X12' of space, thereby freeing up the massive spaces used by old chillers
and cooling towers. Some building owners are using the newly acquired
space to install back-up generation to support telecommunication systems.
The roof space normally occupied by cooling towers is now available for
telecommunication antennas and satellite dishes.
Comfort Link installs the piping
to the customer's chilled water connections and balances the system as
needed to ensure a comfortable environment throughout the entire building.
Pricing
Pricing schedules are customized to meet the unique needs of each
building owner. Service is normally provided through a long term contract
with defined indexes adjusting for fluctuations in electric costs and
labor rates. The risk of managing system performance to a level not exceeding
index adjustments is transferred from the building owner to Comfort Link.
